JVC TVs promise home theatre quality sound

JVC have announced the development of a new range of LCD TVs which have the ability to deliver a home cinema level audio experience without the need to resort to external components, presumably they mean AV receivers and 5.1 speakers here. Seems like bold claim to us, so how have they achieved this? Well JVC has incorporated “Waves Maxxaudio” which “re-masters the audio content and optimizes it for the speaker system, listening environment, and our ears. Waves tools are used in the creation of the world’s top music, movie soundtracks, and video games.
