LG 42LT75 + 160GB Hard Disk

The LG 42LT75 is one of the UKs first HD Ready, Digital LCD TVs with a built in 160GB hard drive which will allow you to pause and rewind live TV, just like a Sky+ box - just without the Sky channels.

Now its not often that a the connectivity of a HDTV plays second fiddle to anything other than the picture quality itself, but in this case while its worth mentioning that the TV comes with 2 HDMI sockets, Component Video and Digital Audio out, you probably are really only interested in the PVR capability aren’t you - I admit it, me too. PVRs are without doubt an indispensable luxury item that you never knew you couldn’t do without. I know I would be very upset if anything happened to my SKY Box, but in the unlikely event that anything does, if I had this TV as a backup then life wouldn’t seem so bad after all. The 160GB hard drive allows for up to 60 hours of digital recording and up to 90 hours of analogue, although why you’d be watching analogue is a secret only you will know (ok, so you don’t have a digital box and your Aerial is not big enough - buy a new one!). The LG 42LT75 comes with 2 digital tuners, so you can record one channel and watch another and since the TV conforms to the Freeview Playback Group 2 Standard, you can use the 7 day EPG and series link with ease.
