Panasonic TH-42PX70

Part of Panasonic’s Viera range, the TH-42PX70 is a 42 inch HD Ready Plasma available with a Cabinet, Pedestal or Wall mounts, and at time of writing can be picked up for around £700 + P&P online.

This TV is around a year old now, but it recently picked up a What Video and High Definition TV Best Buy award thanks largely to its impressive picture quality and relatively good price point. At around £700 online its easily the cheapest 42 Inch plasma that Panasonic have produced, possibly this is why it doesn’t really cut it in the style stakes, but if you’re all about picture quality and value for money then This TV could well offer you the best bang for your buck.
