LCD Screens under 32 inches

A lot of attention is paid to the size of modern day LCD TV, with popular consensus being ‘bigger is better’. However, as with most things there can be a pretty decent clamour for the opposite end of the scale too. Especially if you are looking a a second TV to live in your kitchen or bedroom for example. With a little digging there are just as many gems to be had in the 15 to 26 inch range as there are their larger counterparts. Here are a few of the more highly rated:

  • Sony KDL26S3000
  • From the Sony stable the KDL26S3000 is a 26 inch Screen (also available in a 20 inch variety), powered by the Bravia engine it comes with an integrated digital tuner, a WXGA panel (1366 X 768), 2 x HDMI sockets and a sleekly design designed chassis. Highly recommended for High definition gaming or Watching Blu-ray DVDs. On the Audio front, the KDL26S3000 performs well thanks to S-Force Front Surround which is capable of delivering a decent virtual surround sound experience from only 2 front speakers - something to take into consideration if the set is likely to be housed in a room with no seperate speaker system.

  • This REGZA C Series LCD TV from Toshiba claims to rewrite the rulebook for outstanding pictures at an attractive price. Perhaps a little limited in the connectivity stakes though - it does only have 1 HDMI socket, however this TV is still an ideal future-proofed entry level LCD TV for the consumer looking to replace their old CRT TV and looking for their first HD Ready set. With built-in digital tuner, Active Vision Picture Processing, and rich sounds, the REGZA C Series is the perfect focal point for viewing and gaming pleasure. Gloss black design, ‘hidden’ speaker type setup and excellent screen resolution make the Samsung 19 inch widescreen LCD TV a quality addition to the household with it’s handy built in IDTV tuner and HD Ready compatability. The high quality screen resolution will replicate your TV programme, Film or Gaming Experience with excellent results. A smaller screen with picture quality to outperform many larger screens available on todays market.
